Dern those pretty little hearts

So, I had to go to the store last night to get some more photo mounting stickers for my scrapbook that I am working on. I think that I am going to wish that I had bought some stock in them by the time that I am done getting caught up on all of my pictures!

Anyway, I thought that I would go up there after my workout at the Y and hurry and run in to get these stickers. In and out, lickity split.

Well, I went back to the scrapbooking section, grabbed what I needed and proceeded up to the checkout counter, where there was not a soul in sight. So I stood there for a few minutes, looking at the Valentine candy... BIG mistake!

I found these.

I told myself, "No, you don't need them."

"But they would look so cute in the candy dish."

"No"

"The kids really like them."

"No"

"Just look at the back and find out the calories per serving. Ok, that's not bad, you can eat 19 hearts and it's 60 calories."

"Ok, get a bag. No, get two because that is what will fill up the dish." (You can't have a half full candy dish!)

Finally, the cashier came around the corner, like, 10 minutes later. Or maybe it was 3 or4.
I place all of the blame for my weakness on the cashier at the store because, well, where in the world was she for all that time? I know, that's terrible!

So here's the kicker, YOU CAN'T STOP AT 19!! It's impossible. They are so fresh.

Did I ever tell you that candy is my downfall? I have done so well with not eating the candy.

I will wipe off the mud (it's been raining here for a couple of days) and get back on the wagon...after the hearts are gone! :) I am a weak vessel.
