Thursday Thirteen and a Webkins Cake

I have been somewhat behind reading blogs over the last couple of days. I have been busy doing some cleaning around here. I had two days so full that I actually sat down at the end of the night and thought, "Wow, I got a lot done today." Not every day is like that, let me tell ya!

I made Ben's birthday cake on Wednesday. He wanted a Webkidz cake with his Webkins on it. they always challenge me. I got it done though.

On Tuesday, I tackled our bedroom, specifically under our bed. One word describes what I came in contact with...nastiness!

So, for my Thursday Thirteen I am going to list 13 things that I found under the bed. Sounds like fun, huh?

1. enough dirty Kleenex to fill up a Kleenex box
2. pictures from our Disney trip... 3 years ago
3. 2 candles, never used
4. 2 torn up rolls of Christmas wrapping paper
5. a hat
6. 8.4 volt drill (whatever that is)
7. Crayola Markers
8. Travel Gym (ha)
9. Guinness World Record Book 2005 edition
10. One folding chair
11. Ethan's camera and case (we've been looking for that)
12. 3 minuscule Polly Pocket toys (a spoon, paintbrush and guitar)
13. a shoebox with one shoe.

Oh, and here's a bonus... an inch of allergy-attack inducing dust!

So I ask you, what's under your bed?

That cake is AWESOME! My daughter just got her second webkinz, by her excitement you'd think we had won the lottery!

Okay, under my bed...a lot of clothes that I can't wear still...at least they're in cute baskets! Oh, and probably more dust and cat hair than I'd like to know!

Hello--

Under my bed is a diesel engine. (I live in a motor home!) :)

I don't look under the bed...I have no idea how anything gets there...it just does. I send the smaller children under every now and then to pillage for lost treasure...so far only one has never come out!

Your cake is so cute! I just got a request from my nephew for a Rubik's cube balanced on it's corner for his birthday. Can you say, "Someone's been watching 'Ace of Cakes' waaayyy too much!"??? Good grief! Thankfully, he will allow the cube to be a small one balanced on a larger square cake...much easier than trying to balance an entire cake on it's corner, don't you think? Geesh!

Darlene,

not even going there yeat. This next week is spring break and Maybe Ill get there, However it will be scary. The dog puts all of her chewed up naughties under there and the kids well hid schoool papers that they do not want me to see and the list goes on. I;ll let you know.

Seriously, that cake is amazing...great job!

My husband and I moved the bed the other day and vacuumed under so it should be pretty clean right now!

I am amazed by the cake! Awesome!

I am not telling you what is under my bed. I am not brave enough to look under there.

I love that cake - WOW! Great job!

Under my bed...oh, there is NOTHING. It is beautifully vaccuumed. Of course, I am not going to tell you what was there before we packed the POD! ;)
