Ashes to Ashes

I always wonder if my kids are listening at church. I'm sure that I'm not the only parent in the world that wonders this.

Last night on the way to church, Sarah asked us if we could go get ice cream afterwards.

Of course, I went into the whole "You know, we're NOT made of money. We can't eat out all of the time."

Just as soon as that came out of my mouth, this came out of Ben's...

"Yeah Sarah, we're not made out of money. We're made out of DUST!"

I guess they're listening. :)

That's great! Love it. I bet that convinced you to stop for ice cream after all. (I'm always a sucker for a kid who's been listening well.)

Hey, Darlene!

There are a lot of good churches to visit in the Franklin area. On the top of my list would be Fellowship Bible Church, just off of interstate 65 on Concord Road (west on Concord, left on Franklin Rd...it will be on your left)...or Christ Church, in Brentwood (Old Hickory Blvd. East - keep going - it will eventually be on your left).

Hope y'all have a great trip!
